Andyman came to Board 8 during the Summer 2006 contest and first appeared in the famous Izzyzy "Should I come out of the closet yet?" topic. He was originally thought to be a Smurf alt, although this was quickly disproven because the accusations were simply a result of the "Blue Scare."

The Solano Incident
Andy's breakthrough was during the Link vs. Jay Solano match that SineNomine worked for a year to get. As he was a noob at the time, he did not understand the situation and the match's status as a joke. He rallied at the Twilight Princess board and was flamed to death. Upon his explosive reaction, he was warned by Sine. Andy has since realized his mistakes and his faults as a noob and has moved beyond the incident.
Additional History
Andy has threatened to leave the board multiple times, mostly in 2006 and 2007. He has done so twice for periods of a few months, only to return out of boredom.
Andy used to take everything seriously; several users believe he still does, but Andy just laughs them off. He prefers to lay low and not attract attention to himself, as several users jump if they see him.
Andy has pretended to be a girl named "Michelle" in the past. Though initially a joke, he had fun with it and continued the charade for several months before tiring of it.
He also had an obsession with Haley Scarnato of American Idol 6 during the course of the season. This wore off in the months after the season ending. Despite meeting her, Andy realized how stupid he was to fall for someone he didn't even know and swore off falling for girls on TV, though this did not last long. He has held feelings for Amanda Kimmel of Survivor for over a year, as she is his dream girl.
Contests
Andyman has been known to run various contests on the board, which vary from generic "Save My" contests and Hurt n Heals to interactive competition battles. He also ran the first major Save My Pokemon contest, going one region at a time; after growing bored, he gave it to his friend, StifledSilence. He also created bracket battles of games, but has not done so recently.
Would you have sex with this PW character? was one of his more radical ideas, doing such obscure characters such as Charley the Plant. This was run twice, once for PW2 and once for PW3. Andyman has not played Apollo Justice and does not intend to revive this project.
His biggest project is possibly the inter-board Big Brother game which he ran with Zachnorn. This pit three users from each of the four major GameFAQs social boards against each other. The board8ers involved were SilverlinerV182, DSRage, and the eventual winner, FigureOfSpeech.
Rivalry
Andyman became well-known to the board due to a "rivalry" with TurnTurnTurn. It started because Turn didn't know what a Letter to the Editor was and started attacking Andy regarding the one he posted. Turn then 'owned' (from his eyes) him on several occasions, although Andyman admits that, after a while, he rather enjoyed arguing with him. However, Turn started being a total bully soon after, as his "dominance" got to his head... he began to take everything Andyman said too seriously. Many users lost respect for Turn, and Andyman began to ignore him entirely. The "rivalry" is officially over from Andy's standpoint.
