Bidoof is the generic, very weak Pokemon from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl that Board 8 has a love/hate relationship with.
A large B8 rally proved enough to get him into the 2007 Character Battle, where he shocked the world by actually putting on a pretty good show before going out in respectable fashion. Or at least it would have been a shock, expect we learned that anything Pokemon (even Bidoof or Mudkip) has decent strength in a 4-way format.
