Current Events is GameFAQs Board 400 and was the site's very first social board. CE was originally the most popular board on GameFAQs before that title was taken away during the "golden age" of LUE. However, CJayC's decision to cut off access to LUE allowed CE to eventually reclaim its #1 board on GameFAQs status, a title that it still holds. (Except for during Contests, where Board 8 generally swells into the most active board on the site for a couple months.)
