Serious Sam is the protagonist in his own first-person shooter series on the PC. In 2002, Sam was the most overseeded character ever when he was given a 3 seed and placed against Mr. Driller. After getting 57% on Driller, Sam went on to be annihilated by Mega Man, almost as bad as Ms. Pac-Man was in the first round.
