Smurf is a 24 year old college kid from Ireland. He's been on Board 8 since 2003 though people only really noticed a couple of years later. Smurf's gone from newbie to troll to attention whore to popular user to MIA vet with alarming pace. Anyone's guess what comes next.

Just kinda went nuts with board projects.

  • Created the fic ABSENT 8
  • Exposed pikaness which led to the deletion of BE2 and then disappeared and hasn't done much since then. THE SUMMER PROMISES MUCH THOUGH.

  • Decided to take a break from the board until summer, although seems to have returned for frequent visits.

Smurf is the creator of Rising Stream, the first ever completed Board 8 RPG. The game is over nine hours long and features cameos from various Board 8 members and video game characters.

It was released on March 6, 2006, and in less than a week, it had received over 100 downloads. Despite minor flaws, it was highly praised by all. A week after its release, it received a rating of 8.65/10 in Ulti's Rate the Game topic.
