The Contest Stats and Discussion topics are home to Board 8's Contest Gurus and competitions like the Guru Contest and the Oracle Challenge. The first Stats Topic was created by solarshadow in the midst of the 2002 Summer Contest, and the series has been going strong ever since (as of August 30th, 2010 it is on its 1001st version, meaning well over 500,000 discussion posts have been made in all). Currently new Stats topics are generally, but not always, created by UltimaterializerX.

Stats is the home of X-Stats debates, mock brackets, bold predictions, and approximately 177 people more than willing to point out how wrong you are.
