The Treasure Chest Board Hunting Game was created by Charton around November 0f 2005. Charton ran the game until about mid-March 2006, when he went on hiatus. Extremely popular among board hunter, the game eventually fell apart as the last chests were redeemed. Nobody took over the competition in Charton's absence, probably hoping that he would return. After the last of the Treasure Chest topics purged from the Treasure Chest home board Repus Yortsed decided to take control of the game until Charton returned. Unfortunately, Charton posted that he would no longer be able to run the game and gave his consent to Repus to run it.
Charton restarted the Treasure Chest game on December 19th, 2007.
