World of Warcraft is a MMO created by Blizzard and set in the Warcraft universe. WoW is one of the most successful games of all time, as more than 10 million players worldwide have paid a monthly fee to participate in the fantasy world.
Because players are easily able to tab out of a WoW session to do other things on their computers, the game's rally power in a GameFAQs Contest setting is potentially immense. WoW rallying helped by the "Tuesday Factor" (Blizzard shuts down servers for a few hours on Tuesday mornings to run weekly updates, leaving millions of players bored and looking for something else to do) were blamed when Warcraft stunned B8's Gurus by upsetting the Grand Theft Auto series in Round One of the '06 Series Contest. However, rallying failed to have any noticeable impact for Arthas or Thrall during the '07 Character Battle.
